I finished a system today with a RK3 and K4 using the new weather driver. I think it is great, the driver works so much better than going to a website in the browser. It also gives us the ability to customize the GUI of the weather page on add/delete info to suit the customer's needs.

My only complaint is the satellite. I had several local news station satellite/radar links that I previously used. They were great for checking for a storm/rain coming...and you could tell where the rain was/wasn't. Neither view on the plugin seems to do a good job of this. Anyone else notice this?

RTI K4 -40% off in the for sale section.

I haven't been able to make the satellite image show my location. I've tried changing the location settings in the weather driver and on the xp8, and tried several different locations, using city name, zip codes, and latitude/longitude. It always displays Kansas (I think).
Drew at RTI says they have a working demo in the "lab", but can't explain why mine won't work.

Other than that, the weather driver works as expected. Data on remote seems to update in about 5-7 seconds after wake-up.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

In the last two days the driver won't update, so it still shows yesterday's info. Reset the XP-8 and it works. It has been working for a month perfectly.

I am having some issues with the weather driver in one system, it has the following products:

Dlink router and switch
K4
2 x T2Cz's
XP8
1 x T3V

On the weather forecast page where it should say "Today" it's saying the next day, like if today is Monday it says "Tuesday" and gives me the forecast for that date.

I've changed all the settings I could possibly find to set them to my location and time zone, the XP8 has the correct time and date, I thought it might be the router and made sure the date and time were correct within the router, unchecked the grab date and time from PC, I'm getting so frustrated!

About an hour ago it actually said "Today" then went back to "Tuesday" when I checked again. I believe what ever is causing this issue is also effecting my events as the clients light turn on about 2 hours before sunset when I have it set to 10mins. Any tips or tricks would be great!

How is the clock set? By your pc's time and date? What is your pc's time and date set for?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
