Need IR commands for output select formats for Sony HD-100 HDTV STB- it is a toggle on the Sony remote-would love to obtain discrete commands if they exist?

I have tried hundreds of created commands!
I don't think they are out there!
Shame on SONY!
Rca and Mits are the only ones who thought of this!

Just heard from a tech at Sony HQ in LA who I've been harrassing about this issue (and others) for a while...says that there are some guys working on it right now (in shifts----HA!).

Don't hold your breath.

It took RCA a while to get those discrete codes in our hands.

RCA had nothing to to do with those discrete codes found, RCA said that those codes did not exist.

I believe that someone in these forums found the codes.

Just for the record the codes had existed but only for a short time prior to the software update. They were used in quality control for testing purposes. You can't create codes that do not already exist.

I successfully got around this issue. I am using 2 outputs, 1,2,S-Video and 3 at 1080i. RTI custom created two IR signals for me, one that sends Output Select 3x and one 4x. Then, I use a video sync sensor plugged into one of the composite outputs to figure out where I am, and then can send either the 3x or 4x command if needed. I will be happy to forward the IR codes to anyone if the post their email.

I would love to get what you have. I am not sure that I understand how you are doing it though.
