I have a Lutron Spacer dimmer installed in my home theater. The T2 controls it fine when assigned to buttons (i.e., by pressing a button, it dims or brighten). Unfortunately, it doesn't work when I incorporated the dim and brighten commands into macros for DVD startup and DVD off. I've set the Lutron commands to work as IR, since most of my other commands are on RF. I've also try changing the "Minimum Repeat" to 3, then 5, then 8, then 10, but it still doesn't work. Can anyone give me some advice on how I might be able to get the Lutron Spacer command to work in a macro setup?

Thanks...............Joe.

Joe,

Have you tried any delay times between commands. If it works by itself there is no reason it shouldn’t work with the macro. Create a macro with just the Lutron command by itself, to know at least you are starting from a working position, and then build on it from that point.

Thanks Bill. I'll try what you recommended. Just curious, is there a difference when an IR command is transmitted by pressing a hard button vs. when an IR command is xmitted by a macro? Perhaps, when you're actually pressing a button, the remote somehow send different "strings", duration, etc. out of the remote.

Joe, Try RTI website, I uploaded my own Spacer Commands, I even work on the digital code and make the full on and delay off commands.
