Can anyone send me the codeset pls. I told my client I would be able to do this easily and thought RTI would help. LOL , they bascially told me to kiss there arses. I send an email to Jeff, but I need these asap I am going back to clients house in 4 hours.

And I have just sent them to you. What did you ask RTI for that they woulds tell you to kiss their backsides? They aren't going to just give out a hack for a competitors equipment if they have it.

Ok, I have read this entire post but don't understand how actually address each dimmer for an RTI remote? Below is the 3 numbers from the installed dimmers. How does this relate to the 20 code sets in the file that's posted here and how does the RTI remote know which address to call?

032607911158
032607922175
032607910149

Thank you for the help,
Brian

You need to read the Manual for the switches/diimers and how to set the IDs up for each one....Should be 1-20.

Now use the rti codes 1-20 to talk to each switch

Those look like serial numbers

Just found out from a URC rep that they have had a few issues with them, namely when Lutron builds them, they don't limit the RF or something like that. He said just warranty them and it would be fine.

Hehehehheheheh

Beavis, he said URC..................

Hey chaps, are there any UK users of the URC dimmer? Im no electrician so dont know whether the dimmer is a US only model but it sounds like an awesome add on for a customer that really wants remote dimming in his lounge..

Any thoughts??

It's a US dimmer, not sure about the differences in electric on the otherside of the pond, but I am sure that these won't work there. You should contact your local URC rep and find out if they have a european version in the works.

I will not be responding to anymore e-mails requesting the codes. I am tied of people being rude, and expecting me to drop what I am doing to send them the codes right away, and the lack of courtesy by most of you that I sent the codes to.

There are 2 links in this thread to get the codes, please use them if you want them.

If those links are dead, then they are also listed in the MegaList now.

Is there a work around to get the RTI T2C with zwave to control the URC lights? As in combining the RFTX-1 with a zrp-6?

I like the idea of 2 way, so I'm trying to stick to this particular remote as opposed to the RF only T2c.

If i'm way off, please no flame :) I'm going to the level 1 and 2 RTI class next week so I'm still trying to figure out the RTI products.

I have had that exact thought, but haven't had the time to try it out yet.

I have made this work a few times with a T2C remote, but cannot make the T4 work. I am using the 433mhz version. I can push buttons on the lighting page (on, off, etc) on the RTI remote and the dimmer LED's will respond with either the top LED or the BOTTOM one, but nothing actually happens to the light. While trying to learn the "ON" command the dimmer never actually indicates it's been leared. I am using the "B" dimmer and have factory reset the dimmer as well with no success. I have tried 1,2, and 10 codesets.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Sounds like you may have a bad dimmer, try swapping it out.

Hi,

I have now tried 3 dimmers and have the same problem with each. They work fine with a T2c remote, but not with a T4. Has anyone successfully made this work with a T4 remote?

Thank you.
