Somehow, I've lost the command library that I created on my PC, which contained all my components commands. Many of these individual commands (e.g., Power On (Discrete),etc.) are in the Macros that I have created. So, I was wondering if there is a way to copy a command line in one macro(just one command line, not the entire macro)and paste it into another macro (without overiding everything in that macro) or to a button?

Thanks for your help.

Ouch! Assuming you tried a copy (CTRL-C) and paste (CTRL-P) I don't think that is possible.

I tried messing around with different ways of doing this and could not come up any solution either.

If you have the commands in your remote, you can download them back into the software.

Walt:

What do you mean "download them back into the software"? Is there a way to upload each command on my remote into the component library where they were originally from? If so, how?

Thanks............Joe.

Hook up your remote and set up communications then in TT Designer software go to "Communications" and then click on "Recieve file from remote." should work.

Joe,

If you indeed cannot download the library from somewhere, try this clunky option:

Get your self another learning remote. Copy and paste the macro which contains the command you need to another button. Throw away all but the desired command. Transfer back to the RTI and use the new *macro* as the teacher to the learning remote. Go into the IR library manager and learn the code back to the RTI command library.

If this drives you mad after the third or fourth command, let us know what discrete codes you need; some one should be able to e-mail a library to you.
