I am starting a project that has 2 Sony Sat A50 DSS recievers working on RF in a yacht. I have only seen a single set of codes listed and am not sure how to make both work via RF. Thanks

Actually, you can't directly control RF devices. Not with any universal remote. Sony also only has one set of IR codes.

Does the receivers ONLY work with RF or do you have an IR option?
Using the theatertouch and the irf-6 you can easily configure this by using one irf-6 ir port for each receiver and program the theatertouch to forward the ir commands to the specific port for each receiver.

Thanks for the info. I have 2 extra ports open on the IRF-6 and the Sony's do have IR control. I was trying to be lazy. Thanks for the fast responses!

After looking into it, the Sony recievers appear to be RF only. I learned their codes and shot them at the plastic window on the face with no luck. The remote has both rf and IR......Is their something I'm missing? Just getting into the T2 and haven't dealt with the Sony recievers much...help!

I'm not familiar with the A50, but on my Sony SAT-A2 DSS recevier with the RF/IR remote, the receiver can respond to respond to either RF or IR but not both at the same time. If you go into the receiver's setup menu, there is an option that lets you set the receiver to IR mode.

The A50 can only work with RF *or* IR. Through a trick, the A2, A3 and A4 can operate with both at the same time.
