the majority of our customers always call us because there rti won't charge anymore....it's the power supplies there always going bad.....has anyone else had this problem?......robert

We have had one transformer in a whole lot of T2's go bad, so I would not say it's any sort of epidemic. A bigger problem was with IR output, but from what I can tell that seems to have passed. Either problem was immediately taken care of with replacements by RTI.


Several customers called because their new T2 Battery won't charge, when I ask them if they removed the sticker on the contacts they are always a bit embarrassed. I have to admit I did it the first time also, they need some sort of large “remove before flight” streamer on these.

really....maybee we got a bad batch...because we've had over 6 transfomers go bad.....robert

Looks like problems go in batches, we were the lucky ons to get every mislabled battery that RTI sent out.

Well, I spoke too soon. Had two power transformers go bad over the weekend, RTI was quick to replace. I guess I have another thing to test before I ship. If this keeps up China may have to get some quality control tips from Japan.
