Pretty dumb queston, but how do you guys wire the high out on the RP-6 ? I never had a need to use it until now.. Do you wire the High out on the RP6 to the signal on the ECB5 and the ground to ground? How do you get the block power? I just want to see what people are typically doing in this installation and if they are plugging the power into the block or the RP6, etc. and want to make sure I am wiring properly.
Thanks

Power the rp6 with power supply. There have been several who have damaged connecting blocks by powering them directly.
Then connect power and ground from RP6 to ECB5. Then run High Out to Signal In on ECB5.

As a side note, the connecting block doesn't have to have 12V+. Connecting blocks only need power if they have a powered device connected to them such as an ir receiver or if they are an amplified block such as a xantech 791-44.
