To anyone who clicked on the link expecting a way to clean crayon off of a T3, or looking for suggestions to do so... I apologize. In any case, I was bored over the weekend and decided to update the interface on my personal remote. Check it out, let me know what you think.

I'm probably going to have to make some wait screens and maybe even get crazy with some animated screens or something. My biggest concern is what I'm going to do about the scrolling lists, I don't know if I want to go to the effort of drawing a whole bunch of channel logos and movie names, but I may for constancy's sake.

Thats Pretty cool looking. The 3d effect is awsome.

Definatly need a wait page on there....a cool little hour glass would be OK or a set of pages that draw a face or a tv with a countdown 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 like a movie...crayon tv with nice movie countdown pics in it

Funny remote scheme, very original.

I am still amazed at how customizable these remotes really are.

How about one crayon, two crayons, three crayons, four crayons, five crayons, then OK! Each crayon a different color, side by side.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

It's just an .exe file, it should go on it's own as long as you're using xp or probably vista. The funny thing is it's probably going to end up taking me longer to make some sort of wait screen than it did to make the rest of the remote if I want to make some sort of cool animation. Oh, and the 3d effect isn't an effect. They're little pieces of paper taped to another piece of paper and scanned, so that's an actual gap.

Thats what it looked like, but gives the illusion of being 3D or a button like appearence

For those that aren't getting it to work, just rename the file with an ".exe" at the end and windows will realize it's an application and it will work fine

I was thinking about adding in a "pressed" image with the edge of the buttons airbrushed out to make it look like you pressed them, but I'm not sure if it would be a dramatic enough difference to even be noticeable.

So cool... very original. I love how the the scanned pages added that effect. So cool when things like that happen.

Great job! :)

From my experience, pressed states have to be pretty dramatic to look good. Maybe something else in addition to the bevel disappearing would work well.
