I have encountered RF reception problems with my IRF-6 that are similar to several of the other accounts discussed in previous threads. I am in the process of contacting RTI tech support, but I was wondering what solutions other users/installers may have developed on their own (amplified antennas, signal boosters, multiple antenna arrays, etc).
I have an unfinished room in my basement that holds all of my A/V gear for the entire house (50' min range through multiple walls), so it is essential that I get the RF functionality to work reliably. I am not against a LARGE antenna solution if that will address my problem.

We have had good success in designing antennas to extend the RTI RF range up to 75feet with 90% reliability. Contact us and we can help you. [email protected]

I followed the suggestion of mounting a bulkhead BNC connector on the case (eliminates cheap antenna wire that comes with the IRF-6)- makes a big difference
