Has anyone done this? I've read through the serial protocol from Niles and it seems reasonably straightforward although the carrier return is a bit confusing in that in the protocol its and immediately afterwards says equivilent to ASCII 13; RTI serial is in ASCII so which do I use?
Additionally the Niles CM232 has the DB9 to flying leads for crossover; RTI transmits on pin 3 and ground is on pin 5 so it would fall to reason that pin 3 on the RTI should go to the Rx on the Niles, Niles tech support told me that didn't matter and just to wire the Orange lead to Rx, the Red to Tx, and the Green to ground. Any help would be much appreciated.
Lets not bicker and argue about who killed who.
