So after a bad experience with a Vista upgrade when it first came out, I bought a powerful HP PC model m8000 with Vista and Service Pack 1: Vista now seems to be a much better platform
This PC has 4 gb of memory, a 750 gb HD, and an Nvidia video board with HDMI and DVI out, Core 2 Quad 4 processor: the works
But.... it is a 64 bit machine: something bothered me about that but I could not recall until now: Integration Designer will run on Vista ..but not Vista 64 bit (according to the RTI site)
Ouch!!

I've been seeing alot of things that will not work with the 64 bit system.

Strange I have not had any problems with Vista 64-bit and Integration Designer. I just checked and it is not set to run in compatibility mode or any other special settings. Make sure it is installed under C:\Program Files (x86).

I thought the issue was with the embedded drivers.
Which would rule out any 32 bit program that is dependent upon this, unless specifically noted.
I believe RTI is.
