Ive got a strange one here; T4,RP-6 controlling Pioneer AirWare XM2GO portable xm player with IR. All is good until I use a macro with the same number in succession or on a direct access keypad. For example; a macro of channel 113 only comes out as 13.Same with direct access keypad.I tried relearning, more or less repeats, delays, stripping .3 delay and even learning into 3rd party remote then into ir-pro.Tech support scratching head also.
Its seems to me that when IR is learned into IR-Pro,something is lost response-wise. Cable box cursors dont work as fast,Apple TV doesnt work as fast, etc.I am being critical, but if this could be solved, we could give our clients a better product.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanx

I have not had this issue at all with my IR pro, even with many different cable boxes and Apple TV. Perhaps there might be something up with the IR pro?

I don't know what causes the problem but I have a solution.

If you have the Megalist...

In it you will find a set of codes under XM/Satellite/XM-Removable base

In that set of codes it one called "IR Problem solver".

Put it in between all your number macros and they will work perfectly.

Example:

144 would look like this:

1
IR Problem solver
4
IR Problem solver
4

I'm not sure where it came from or why, it was being used by the guy before me... I do know that it works.

If I were to hazard a guess, it's some kind of toggle bit issue.

Thanks alot Andy,that did it.
Do you notice the other issue I mentioned in my post regarding latency. I find it with or without IR-Pro and with or without RF setups.Im not talking about a "real" problem, just that response when using cursor driven menus is not quite as fast as with oem remotes sometimes.
I Appreciate your help,
Rob17

I think I know what your talking about... it's never been an issue.

I chalk it up to remote talks to RM433, which talks to RP unit, which adds .3 between commands (by default), then sends command via IR... all that takes time. Is it too much time? Don't know, I have nothing to compare it with.
