We have a training room with 4 LCD's and 1 Projo. Six sources. Customer wants anything on any display. Not a big deal but i am looking for ideas or real world easy to follow GUI's.
Do you have a screen first to pick which TV and then select the source on it OR do you have your source selection screen and then pick what tv to display it on. It may sound like a horse a piece. I was hoping somebody had run into this before.
have five identical start pages. one for each screen/pro. on the page have 5 buttons representing the screen/pro (i would lay them out in the positions they are within the room) on each of the five pages have one of the buttons highlighted (different one on each page))or a different colour to the others. then have 5 source selection pages, one for each screen/pro. page link from from screen 1 button to source sel 1 page, 2 to 2 etc, do this for all 5 start pages set the page link on the home button to previous page, disable save source page to file. put your matrix commands onto each source sel page obviously.
another way slightly different, have five start pages as above but include the 6 source selection buttons on those pages aswell. use the highlighted button to show the client which screen is currently being controlled.
have working example if interested (T4, but same thing) 8 source 8 zone with source control for kramer matrix
