I have finding some problems which interference our projects installation.

The most problem is when we send the commands via RF the RM433 led bigger part of the time is red and the time green when the command is executed and this to fail the send macro.



This problem to happen some times, in the controller T3 and T4 which RP6 and I don’t Kwon how to decide?

Already we change the antenna place, leaned the code again, I change the wire RP-6-RM-433…..



Do you have some idea what to happen? Is it problem antenna or Controller?

Make sure your T4 is up to date on firmware. The very first one we did would start sending out a garbage signal after about 10 commands from being downloaded to. This would in turn cause the RP6 to lock up and not be able to distinguish the true commands from all the remotes from the garbage. Once we did the update it worked fine.

2. Keep RM433 and RP6 as far away from equipment as possible

I had this problem in 2 clients: one client (RP-6, T4, RM-433) and other (RP-6, T3, and RM-433)

Can do IR learned Worng?

IR commands could possibly cause the trouble, but unlikely. Why did you have to learn codes? Are there not any in the mega list? I would first try replacing RM433 if you have extras. I have ran across a few bad ones here and there.

Try standing right next to the RM433 and see if the commands get more reliable. If they do, that would probably put the problem on interference.

If this is the case, try moving the RP6 and RM433 into the middle of room to troubleshoot. If they work fine here, try moving the rp6 to the desired location. If it works good, leave it there. If not try moving the RP6 til you find a good spot.

Then try moving the RM433 around til you find a good spot for it.

You can also try and adding another RM433. This sometimes helps with interference problems. Place the RF receivers apart from each other, not right next to each other.

It could be that you are getting some kind of local interference brodcasting on the same frequency.

i always include 2 rm433's in every job. a couple hudred bucks can save lots more in future service calls.

also i have done this with great sucess:

put rp6 and rm433 in rack. take serial digital coax and run to good clean hidden locations. terminate with bnc's on both end and remote locate just the antennas.

when using plasmas and when on a hollow wall i will run an extra coax for the antenna and drop it in the wall with antenna about 3 feet below the bottom of the plasma.

and i always locate the second antennna no more than 20 feet from the first

I am also getting to the point of always adding two antennas. The extra antenna really helps when you have a lot of interference.

Forgive me, I see I haven't been keeping up with the details:

davenport, how do you connect two antennas to an RM433?

I believe he is just saying he uses two RM333s.

I solve the problem puting on two RM-433, but the place is very small, (10m2, max)
I believe the RM433 shoud more potency.
