Anyone know if this actually works?
Trying to do a search and replace of IR commands and change the existing commands from all ports to just one port. The command changes but the ports are still all selected.
If I just do a command at a time onto the buttons, it works fine. But if I try through search and replace no go. (Don't really want to rebuild all the channel macros by hand if I don't have too)
ID6.01 - Master Library 15 - T4 - RP6 (directv H20 commands)
Thanks,
Rob

have you tried the channel wizard under Edit? I saw this at ACU training... massive timesaver. Not sure if it changes the port routing as well... I dont have a channel list handy to try with.

Rob, it will replace routing if it is already setup on the buttons, if it is setup on the buttons now as all ports then it will replace as all ports
use the select tool...red box and outline the buttons you want to route ir on...IE the keypad, now all buttons are red, right click, edit properties, ir routing
this will change the ir routing for all the red buttons
Now go back and do your ir search and replace
This will only take a minute or less

Search and replace keeps the current routing in my experience.

There is also the option to edit the IR routing in an entire macro... so you could just highlight all your channel icons and do them all at once.

Yeah... there is a separate edit option for channel macros in the left click menu.

Greedy and you can't tell the difference between CM-232 and RS-232! :)
For a built channel macro you can right click it and there is an option to change the port. "Edit Macro IR routing"

The right click Edit IR Macro was the key.
