First off, I've been lurking here for a year and would like to thank you all for all the help that you have given me, but I have come upon a problem I could not find a solution to here.

I'm working with a Marantz SR6001 with three zones of Audio. I'm using two T3's and 2 RP6's. The A/B switch is for two rooms and the third is hooked up to Center speaker so I use the Multi channel audio command to trigger sound in that room. My problem (or rather my customer's problem) is that the A/B command in the RTI IR data base is a switch and the customer can not comprehend the need to hit that switch until the sound goes off in the other two rooms. I discovered on the Marantz website a list of discreet codes for A on, A off, B on... but I'm not sure how to import these codes into the Integration Designer: [Link: us.marantz.com]

For example Speaker A ON is 16 35 00 Speaker A OFF is 16 35 01

What is this number and how do I use it to create working codes? None of these numbers look like HEX code to me, unless I'm missing some super secret HEX translator math skills I am at a loss.

Thank you in advance.

Although I am not real sure of this design, have you tried the codes listed under Marantz, Receiver, 2006 Rec/Amps.

These codes should work for your receiver.

Could you elaborate on this third zone hooked up to the center speaker? Why not use the multi speaker features of this receiver?

if you download makehex, there is a way to plug in those numbers and get the ir codes. someone on the forum showed me how to do it for marantz discrete volume codes, but i cant remember how exactly....

EDIT:
I think i did this right.
try these:

Device Code: 16.35 Function: 0
0000 0073 0000 0010 0020 0020 0040 0040 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 00C0 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0AC4

Device Code: 16.35 Function: 1
0000 0073 0000 0010 0020 0020 0040 0040 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 00C0 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 0AA4

There are too many unanswered variables in your post. Let me know if any of this makes sense.
I think the quickest way would be to put a CM-232 in and use the RS-232 codes provided via Marantz if they are not in integration designer. In the RS-232 control specs Speaker A & B have discrete on/off or toggle commands.
Why are you using speaker A & B? Why not use the "Multi-Speaker Out" to a speaker switcher, control the Multiroom via RS-232 with an absolute volume. If they have v/c's in rooms 2 & 3 then they would have attenuation locally Set M-Spkr to -20dB for example then attenuate from your room. W/multi you can listen to separate source except Tuner (long story). It doesn't have to share the 5.1 Main Room speaker outputs.
If you don't have volume controls in Rooms 2 & 3 use ATON [Link: atonhome.com] It is a IR controllable speaker level audio router w/volume control. I don't think they are affiliated w/the display lift company. They have switchers in 2, 4 and a 6 way. In order to control each zone independantly you need to port route the volume commands to each channel input in the aton router. Hope this is insightful.

Also, How many peices of gear are you needing to control in the system?
Don't shoot the messenger!!
