For the new T3-V. If you plugged in the RP-6 into an ethernet port could the T3-V and RP6 communcate now? RTI states the T3V is wifi enabled but does not get into the details. I am working on a home that has no ethernet lines so the wifi would be huge for the upstairs rooms to be able to contol the equiptment connected the RP6 down stairs. Any other ideas are greatly appreciated.

Also anyone know what standard the wifi is?(B, N, G?)

In short, no. RP-6 does not have ethernet, either. Remotes will communicate with via RF (not wi-fi) with RP-6 with the use on an RM-433 antenna module. Range is quite good as well.
Listen, think, THEN speak.

He who specs vaporware has a tendency to loose money and reputation.

If you are using an RP-6 just run cat 5 to 433s around the house. You can chain up to 10 together.

Here we go again!!

I would rather have RTI concentrate more on the development of the 2-way abilities for the XP-8 and the remaining problems for ID 6.01, before we begin to discuss here or press them on the specifics of the WiFi abilities of the T3-V.
