I am working on a remote that I would like to use press and hold (ie, press does one operation, press and hold, for a certain amount of time - does another operation). Can this be done, and if so, how? I must have missed this somewhere.

Thanks in advance for the help.

yes this can be done, it is in the Macro Editor window under the remote, not the processor. You would select "Button Test":

Also, the button must be in Standalone Mode.

If you're using Button Test for a single command, you'll need to create a System Macro for that command, otherwise it is IR emitted from the remote, not the processor.

This got me a couple times when I first started programming RTI. I used Button Test for the Menu button on a T2+ controlling a cable DVR with a RP6: press for Info, press/hold for Menu. It's a great feature.
