Hi Guys,

I use Guide, Exit, and Pwr buttons quite often and have noticed the text on the buttons are starting to rub off. I was wondering if any of you are seeing the same thing?

It is not a huge issue for me because I know what all the buttons do by feel. It does make it more difficult for guests to use the remote. It took a while for one of my friends to figure out how to turn it on because the W was mostly gone from the PWR button. :)

Thanks,

Will

I'd guess they'd wonder why you have a "PR" button on your remote! Can't say I've seen the same thing yet -- but it'd not an uncommon thing to happen to remotes.

Fortunately I do not see that problem (yet). But I did notice that sometimes, my channel or volume buttons won't respond. Only after I first do something else will they react. Not sure if this is a T2 or an IRF-6 issue.

Mine look ok, and I use the guide button probably the most of the ones that have text where you press.

I just wanted to mention how great RTI is, they sent me a message on friday offering to send me a replacement keypad. That was really nice and is one more reason to love your T2. :)

I use the guide and exit buttons as my fast forward and rewind buttons for most devices, so they see quite a bit of use, particularly when I am using my TiVo. I use the other buttons less frequently, and they are holding up well.

I've noticed one tiny "dark spot" that wasn't there before. Same for you John?
