Hi

Has anyone worked with a Ad Notam LCD (Mirrow Image) model CO/FP/TV 46.0 (made in Germany).

[Link: ad-notam.com]

An existing client has just one installed and it comes with its own RF remote. The manual is next to useless, the distributor here in Australia has no idea. The LCD does have a serial port which he thinks can be used for RF antenna (currently attached) or an IR adaptor.

The distributor couldn't help with any hex code etc and I think he was lost.

We have full control over multiple normal LCD screens, home theatre, lighting etc via T3's T2C's and RP-6s and know he wants the same control over the Ad Notam.

Any help would be appriciated.

Quick clarification, my beef is with the company that brings Ad Notam into my country and yes I am wishing them an early retirement!!!
As a side note If the distribution of Ad Notam moved to at least one of 4 better options I can think of in my country, they would instantly quadruple sales and have real distribution and real service. So I hope someone at Ad Notam is reading this.
Now here is why I have a problem with the current importer "distributor"
Ad Notam is imported into my country by a mega giant company of white goods and some electronics.
This (father) company opened a custom install department some 6 months ago and are basically using the products for their jobs exclusively.
I get a call from one of my customers ; he got a new Ad Notam 32" or so for the kitchen; can I get the RTI T2 work it.
I call the guys above and following is the support I get:
We don’t have codes in HEX since we do not do RTI (but I know they do pronto (same code set))
I ask them so how do you control these screens on your jobs? their answer:
a.We don’t do RS232, we don’t even have the module in stock!
b.We don’t have Hex (CCF Format)
c.We have this "trick": we use a receiver to do AV switching, and turn off the Cable box to let the power saving control to kick in for a "discrete power off simulation".
d.We only do Crestron, we have on support for Pronto and RTI!!!

Listen guys I've been in business for 25 years, this kind of answer is unacceptable!
I have one last message for the guy who runs this circus; today you are the owners "playmate of the month" but if thing go south wheels may change; and for that alon buddy you want to show some courtesy!!!
Yours

PS anyone have discrete codes for these god dam screens 
