Just ordered 3 of these, heard the samsungs and sharps were a little screwy, so i figured i try the panny's. Anyone know if the play turns it on like the regular dvd players?? I noticed no power discretes on that file...

Yes, play does turn on the player. THe warm up is considerable, but slightly less than the Sony.

That way the time that is spent warming up will follow with the DVD autoplaying. VB

Those On and Off codes definitely worked on the newer Panasonic, the BD-30. I tried it with the Pronto TSU-9600 and they worked fine.
