Trying to control an VP-23N with RS232 and having problems. I verified that the codes are being sent out the right port and I can receive them on the PC using hyperterminal. I am using Port 2 for the switcher.

9600 Baud Rate 8N1
01 81 81 81 (Composite Video 1)

I get nothing on the switch but with hyperterm I get the code from the RP6

Does the VP-23N need a wakeup command or a stop command?
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

Not that I know of. I will have to look, I have not seen anything for this. I am questionable on this product. I can not control the equipment through hyperterminal but I can through the Kramer software, I can use the Protocol2000 program and see the command that is being sent to the switcher and I can also see the response from the switcher.

I just noticed that I have no control over rs232 to the Kramer and NEC GT6000 projector. I've checked the commands numerous times and also tested to make sure that the commands are being sent using hyperterminal.
