Anyone have an RTI library for a SIM2 HT5000 ? Havn't had much experieince with these and am short on codes. I don't have the remote in hand yet and was wondering if anyone would help save me the long trip up to the clients house.

Thanks

I would use RS232 on such an expensive piece of equipment. I can get the protocol for you if you want. I have used RS232 on a Domino recently and their protocol is extensive and covers everything. I am not sure but I think some people had problems with Sim2 IR.

If you are going to email them, could you shoot a coppy to me?

Thanks,

I would second the suggestion of 232. We installed an HT5000 last fall and the serial is very easy to work with.

As a side note, this unit is awesome. Especially with a native 1080P source such as blu-ray. Your jaw will drop.

Anyone have the protocol handy? A .cml ? Or just the pure protocol , anything!

Thanks again. I am really looking forward to playing around with this beauty.

I use a Domino 30H. RS232-commands for remote control keycodes work well but somehow the operation codes (32-bytes long, for example setting gamma set grahics) don't work. Do I need to send an extra command before or after the operation code? Do I forget something? Who can help?
