I always think that it's me with product failure, I mean
I don't even call tech support anymore. Well last week
for the first time in about a year I did call, T2+ with
RP-6/RM 433 installed about 5 months ago working fine
then very erratic operation (red light alternating green
etc) for the RF. Called and they said it can't be the
RP-6 because these are rock solid, there has to be local
interference (heard that BS before 2 years ago).

Took out the RP-6 and RM-433 and merged RP-6 macros over
to the RP-1 (didn't need the routing functions of the
RP-6 because of the multiple codes sets for the new Directv
boxes) and system worked flawlessly again. Or the customer
hasn't called again.

BTW, I did have a job in which the WII caused major interference
to an RP-1/ T2+ system around 14 months ago, solution
was to power off the WII to use the system.

Thats what I did and the problem went away. No call back. So for the majority of never having issue. I just wanted to get a heads up and seems like its very rare for it to happen.

Thanks for all you guys reply

I have issues with rf range with three t3's using three rp1's in the same residence. talking with rti there is a known issue with older rp1's. seems if it doesn't have a date box on the rear of the rp1 these issues can occur. Something to do with the rf filter being too tight?(known issue) Brought this to the attention of the distributor about the date stamp and am still waiting for a response. is this something that occurs with rp1s only, because I'm thinking of sending them back and ordering rp6 units in hopes of the issues going away. I even brought the units back to the shop and tried them to no avail. Was thinking maybe the environment. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
