Is it possible to have RTI keypads control security cameras connected to a DVR? Have a 10 camera situation whereby video would need to be viewed on keypad as well as zooming capability. Is this possible without IP in any way?

Thanks

I have used nuvico DVR's and PTZ's controlled through IR using RTI. I could control the PTZ's and all of the features. It was pretty easy to setup.

Were you able to see the video on a keypad or controller? This customer wants to see / control the cameras through a keypad...

Thanks

Finished a job this summer that used Nuvico DVR with 3 K4 touchscreens. Works great!

We were able to use the touchscreen or the Nuvico wireless remote for control.

The only problem we had was rolling bar on the screen that was corrected by turning off the ambient light sensor, installing ground loop isolators and using an adjustable video amp for the feed to the 3 touchscreens. There are other threads about this issue.

We have done lots of these, mostly with dedicated micros DVR's. We often use Knox 16X16 composite video switchers controlled via RS232, so that different cameras can be displayed on different touch panels and displays simultaneously

RTI Installer.

I have had issues with the ambient light sensor too. Actually the IR pass trough caused another issue so now I just shut them off.

Side Note. Met Jason and Abraham last week. Took your name a lot. Hoping to get a demo piece ASAP as we have a job that is gonna have 12 inputs.
