Hi All, does anyone have clean ir codes for a Denon AVR (3808ci) for the # keys (0, 1,2,3....etc) functions? I sold my brother in law a system in another city, and I don't have the Denon AVR remote control for the 3808ci to learn these codes in so he can set up his AM and FM presets. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Thanks Glack. I found a .xls spreadsheet that I pulled and saved from the forum some time ago that had a vast trreasure trove of Denon IR codes and under a tab named Denon K7.7 was a sheet called "Denon Kaseikyo Codes"

# functions were offered in this sheet. I cut and pasted them into an IR Library file and then applied them to the T2+ image. I sent the load to my brother in law to download and haven't heard back from him since he was engrossed in the Cowboys-Giants game last night. Thanks for sending what you have in case these don't work. I am not hopeful they'll work since the legend in the spreadsheet says that these codes are related to "stereo models DRA697)

The stereo models use different codes than the AVRs.

The RTI library codes Glack gave you are what you will need.

FYI.... the xx08 series needs at least 5 seconds (I do 6) of delay between initial power up of any zone and the next issued code.

I didn't get the codes yet from Glack, but he's a busy guy, so I understand and I'm grateful for the help. Thanks for the tip on the start-up interval. Ever since the XX05 series Denon AVR's I've been putting in about an 8 sec delay...I should do a more accurate measurement...if it is 5-6 secs, I can speed things up a bit on the start-sequence for customer systems. You are right about the stereo model codes...they didn't work.

The 06 models only required 2 seconds using 232.

Then came firmware.... well more substantial firmware at least.

Hey Troy,

Do you recall if the 3805 responds to the discrete digital or cinema commands or does it just toggle to neo6 and so forth? I have only found in my list, codes that will cause it to jump to 5/7-chan stereo ok with no toggle, but it toggles on the go to surround type commands

I have the "original" codes form tgrugett, Thank you to him! I also have tried the "AVRxx08 clean" codes ( which I beleive he supplied ) in the latest ID software.

I have been unable to get the preset volume codes to work properly. On my 3808ci most recent firmware they "all" send the volume to 0db! So be warned before "testing" these for me, set the receiver to an unused source with nothing playing!

The code set from the Denon ci site does not have any presets included. Which I thouht was supposed to be every ir code?

So I am looking for the preset volume codes.
