I would like to control a computer running Vista media center remotely. The catch is I would like to see on the remote what is occuring on the media center. If none of the RTI's can do this, does anyone know of any remotes that can?

I've never done it before but here's my first guess.

RTI does not have 2-way feedback yet. If you use an RTI T4 which lets you stream video to it, you can look at the picture off the PC to see whats happening and control it that way. To stream video wirelessly you just need an piece that i think panasonic makes that takes video and makes it into a webpage that you can browse to and view in your network. You then just set up a browser on the T4 to look at that address.

I think it would be very difficult to do this with RTI. You might find a solution using the browser in the T4 but it would not be a good one.

AMX and Crestron can certainly fo this. The modules from this company make this easy: http://www.autonomichome.com/ , although I think Crestron has its own module. Please note that Crestron and AMX are not regular remote, are quite expensive and can only be bought from and programmed by certified dealers.
