Hello! I have a problem with my flags as the title suggests. I have placed my projector lift, the projector and the drop-down screen commands into a Test Flag loop, since i stop the screen after 20s, before it stops itself. this way i can avoid any further drop and time delay if the customer tries to re-enter the same menu with an already "dropped" screen, and it all works fine. I have also put in a few "please wait" pages for those 20seconds, for obvious reasons, by assigning the system macro on the "projector button" and then adding one by one the pages with the adequate time delay between them.

My problem is that I want to put these pages in another Test Flag loop, so that if the customer does go out of the projector menu and tries to re-enter, not only will he avoid the screen time delay, but the "please wait" pages as well, that take the same time. I have puit them in the loop and they do work fine, but i want to clear their corresponding flag when the projector is turned off. Unfortunately their flag wont show up as an option when i try to enter it in my "power off" button. The only flag that appears is the one for the screen and the lift, which is used to clear that flag's status when it is turned off. Also, the screen and lift flag is not available when i create the flag for the "please wait" process. So i am a bit confused. Why isnt the "lift & screen" flag showing in place 001 as it shows on the RP6, and why isnt the "please wait" flag showing on my power off button so that i can select it to be cleared along with the "lift & screen" flag?

Thanks!

Sounds like you have some buttons as standalone and another as default.

Easy to fix. Check your other mode where you are trying to check the flags set that you made... bet its not set for standalone. Set teh property to standalone and then you will see the flag you are looking for.

Reember that the flags held in the RP6 can't be seen by the remote. The RP6 flags and the remote flags are independent of one another. Go to the properties on the remote and create flags on the remote too.

I do many scenarios similar to this where there are duplicate sets of flags on the remote and the processor so both stay synchronized. It make for quite a bit of work, however, if you are thoughtful about the process you can copy-paste-edit the standalone on/off macros since they can not be saved in the same way they can on the processor (i.e. calling sub macros within larger macros). the most important thing is that you design and build the system for these features in the beginning so you do not have to sweep through the programming after the fact to set and clear flags in all of the appropriate places.
