I have 2 MA 110V rack fans that I would like to turn on and off. Can the RP-6 relays "intercept" one of the leads gonig to the fan and close and open to turn it on. I am pretty sure that I cant due to the high voltsge but I thought that I would ask anyway.
Don't read my answer. Someone else will go into great detail as to why I am wrong rather than answer the original question...

the RTI relays will only handle up tp 30v ac/dc

use an outbord relay for 110 thats controlled by 12v

Xantech AC-1 or similar is what we use, or use 12v fans next time
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
