Does anyone know if the XP-8 will be able to execute a macro based on a trigger input?

I can use Elan touchscreens/Ole's to execute system macros on an RP-6, but I'm wondering if there's a way to do it with just an RTI controller.

It seems silly to install a $1400+ touchscreen in a rack just to fire off commands when a sensor trips...

In the specifications, "Sense Inputs" are listed as "Analog/Digital/Closure".
I think that means yes.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

I asked this same question in one of their classes, and the answer was yes... My scenario was a doorbell trigger to cause a K$ to link to the page showing the front door cam.
