This is more on the system I wrote about in [Link: remotecentral.com]. I've solved the Yamaha and Samsung problems, so it's not a systemic problem. This is also in the Original Pronto forum as it has to do with hex codes.

Now we have a new problem with those Sonance Navigator keypads…or maybe something else. It’s too confusing for me.

I have a JVC CD Changer, XL-FZ700. Its remote works. If I teach its codes to a Pronto, that works. If I teach its codes to the RTI learner, they don’t work from the keypad (Sonance Navigator). If I take the codes out of the keypad and learn them on the Pronto, they don’t work.

Here’s what I can think to put here as clues. I’ve got the Pronto-learned code, the RTI-learned code, and what a Pronto learns from the keypad…the RTI-learned code coming out of the keypad and learned by the Pronto. That last learn might be affected by the fact that I can’t hold down a button and make the code come out for more time.

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I took a look at the codes and the codes learned on the Pronto and via the IR pro, while possesing some variation, are fairly accurate.

The codes learned on the keypad have a repeat where the second issue of the code may or may not be issued or received accurate. Check the repeat settings to make sure the code issue is not doing something funny.

Try these:
Device Code: 179 Function: 67 (stop)
0000 006D 0001 0011 0141 00A0 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 030E
Device Code: 179 Function: 77 (pause)
0000 006D 0001 0011 0141 00A0 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 02E6
Device Code: 179 Function: 76 (play)
0000 006D 0001 0011 0141 00A0 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 0014 0014 003C 0014 0014 0014 030E

t,
thanks for the suggestions. I ended up using an idle H-K FL8380. Its commands from MegaList 14 worked the first time. End of story.
