Anybody have codes for the new Suddenlink (formerly Cox Communicatons) HD/DVR box. The manufacturer is PACE. That's all I know about it.

I don't know, Suddenlink gave me the wrong remote (old cable box remote). I did find a model # though.

Pace TDC775X I think.

Pace boxes are horrible!! Al ot of times they use the same codes though.
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

You mean they left an installation that had a non-working remote?

Are there any commands in the MegaList?

I've never seen a Pace box, but years ago there were some quite long threads about the problems with them. You might be able to find some codes in the original Pronto Files section, then download ProntoEdit and get into the codes far enough to copy and paste the hex into your RTI stuff to see if they will work your device.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I am the cable installer. I am a Suddenlink authorized retailer and this is "new box", first one I have installed, and they gave me the remote to old box. I questioned the customer service lady that gave me the box/remote and she said they use the same remote.

I was like yesss! same IR codes then right!

Wrong.

Now I am going to swap it out for one of the old boxes that I trust, and have the codes for.

I'd heard that some of these new boxes suck, but I didn't realize you could actually use a straw!

The real kick would be a box that performed like Vernor's. Most of them end up like the soda that I tried once -- I'm daring, I just had to -- at a Glendale, CA Armenian-owned gas station.* Imagine, if you will, a bottle of beverage with whitish stuff on the bottom inch of the bottle, and the label "Yogurt soda." Two sips and I was DONE with that stuff!

*Glendale, CA is the second largest Armenian City.

MoCA=Multimedia over Coax Alliance

It's how the cable companies will be able to do a whole house DVR. But it also can do a ton of other things. Do a wikipedia search on MoCA.
