We're trying to set up an MZC88 MODE system that will be controlled by an AMX NI-3100 and having nothing but problems with the communication between the two.
AMX apparently has a module for controlling the MZC, but it didn't work at all, so we are now using the Speakercraft control emulator which is helpful, but not consistent. Even sending commands to the MZC via the emulator only works about 70% of the time.
Has anyone had experience with the combination of these two systems or have an idea of how to make them play nicely?
I realize this message is vague, but I just wanted to see if anyone has "been there" before I get into detail.

Oops. I just realized I posted this in the wrong area.

I use MZC-66 for my multi-zone stuff and am toying with the idea of using RS-232 into the RSA-1.0 then Expansion loop out into the MZC-66 expansion port. What I was going to do was use the emulator to pick which commands I need and them paste them into Excel as a template type of thing. I'm interested in hearing if anyone has any luck.
The only time Microsoft will make something that doesn't suck is when they start making vacuums
