I have not used an rp 6 yet and im trying to incorporate this into this job im doing. I have one t2+ controlling two tvs one in a base fam rm and the other behind over a bar both w/ same cable boxes, motos. I was originally gonna do a ir repeater system for the bar tv, but figured its a good way to learn an rp-6.

Just added the rp6 to the file last night and im trying to figure out how to press a command that is not going to change both boxes at the same time?? If your watching espn, change to fox, only the cable box your watching or wanting to change which is the family box, not the bar.. thanx for the help

The RP-6 allows you to address the emiter ports and route any button to a specific port (1-6 or high out). Simply right click on the RP-6 on the left side and select properties and name the ports accordingly. Then, on any screen drag and drop a command to a button, edit the properties, select IR ROUTING, and check off the port you want the command sent while you UNCHECK the ports you DONT want it to go to.
