I just upgraded a client with a six zone AV system. He wanted all his remotes to match the T2+ in his theater which he loves. I set up the ist zone and noticed a range of only 6 to 7 feet IR. I plulled out another T2+ figuring a problem with the 1st and I had the same problem. The manufactures remote works fine and a universal remote works fine. I normally do RF systems.
Has anyone else had any issues with the T2+ sending IR?

This is how the road of RTI has been: somewhat bumpy, sometimes curvy, even like a nice peaceful Sunday drive(when I'm heading to go rock climbing).
Same thing happened 2 days ago, ripped out an old T2 which was IR only aiming at a Speakercraft IR reciever, noticed right away that range was poor with the T2+ replacement. Customer called already and no problem, we'll be putting in an RP-1 which I should have done in the first place.
I think there is a problem however, in RTI's view maybe not, they can sell more RP-1's.

I had one system out there with IR only, which was fixed recently. You have the power of a processor, this is what seperates RTI from the others. Use it wisely...
