Hey All! I've got a customer who specifically asked for a "Slow Motion" button on his T4 that is currently controlling an HR20 Sat Rec via 232. I read the installer docs and apparently there is no discrete command for slow motion...However, if the play button is presssed and held on the oem remote, there is slow motion....I tried repeating the "play" 232 command until button released with no success. All of my 232 commands are in system macros on the second rp6 if that makes any difference. Please Help! TIA

Nate

You will need to create a system macro on the RP-6 that contains the HR20 play command, in the macro editor right-click the command and change the "Minimum Repeats". It may take some trial and error to find the right number.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

what if you put the command on the actual button as apose to the system macro? Not that you dont know how to but here is how I would try

1. Create the button,or select the hard button I wanted.
2.Right click
3.Edit properties.
4.rs-232
5.enter the string
6. Select sustain.
7.Delay between repeats = 0.0

Just a guess.
Don't read my answer. Someone else will go into great detail as to why I am wrong rather than answer the original question...
