I have a T4, K4, RP-6, CB-4, and an RM-433. I converted the T4 to K4. The T4 works fine but the K4 works then if you do something on the T4 the K4 stops functioning and I need to reset the RP-6. The RP-6 has the latest firmware. The CB-4 is connected to the RP-6 through the Patch cord. The RM-433 is connected to the RP-6. I have also tried to change the freq. for the K4 and still had the same problem.

you mean you converted the T4 to a K4 in the program?

One thing to try is turn the IR sensor off on the K4 if you don't use it: that has always been a problem with any of my RTI TP's

Did you make a copy of the T4 before converting it, so you have both devices in your system file? Even though their status is "Up to date", try downloading programming to everything again.
My guess is the RP-6 stops responding to commands from the K4 after the T4 sends out a command because of some kind of conflict.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Found out what the problem was even though the device default was IR Trigger Codes for Control System and the buttons were set for the device default it was not triggering off any system macros. Had to set them from device default to IR Trigger for Control System.
