So when you go to properties of an RK2 there is a section to set a 4 digit security code. anyone else notice this? is this to stop someone from pulling data out?
anyone think this might be added to other devices soon?

You can go to the properties of any button and assign it to be password protected.
When you press that button, it prompts you to enter a four digit pass code. I've only used it a couple times when doing presets for XM/Sirius. Parents didn't want their kids listening to Howard, among other things.
So far as I can tell, it is only available on the T2+/RK2 and Sonance K2. It is NOT a way to keep your programming from getting stolen.
