Hey guys

We just got our T4 to start testing with..

Has anyone streamed any video to this yet ?

We would love to know which cameras are best and most cost effective for use with this device ?

Also, can you preview video on the panel to see whats on the projector ?

Video inputs ?? Streaming devices ?

Thanks
Craig

Video was not streamed but accessed via the composite video viewer object.

Panasonic IP cameras are pretty simple to set up and work with.

Yes

4 composite video that can also be 2 s-video.

Isn't that a K4 your talking about??

Yes on a K4 you could see what you want to display on a projector. As stated above there are 4 video inputs, which could also become 2 s-video inputs, along with being able to access something web enabled.

With a T4, you only have web enabled viewing, I haven't seen or heard of being able to watch things any other way (yet).

You need to have the K4 sitting on the same network as the panasonic cameras. Then create a page using the panasonic webcam object, configure the options with the relevant data.

Huh...

Sorry about that I was talking about the K4. I saw an app advisory that mentioned the mounting unit for the T4 so I must have kicked the letters in my head... sorry.

As for cameras... integration on the LAN is easy.

After some time spent, I figured out how to get the TT software to see cameras on the WAN.

(Have a customer in Fort Washington MD who can check the 5 cameras around his office in DC from his T4. Brett is writing up an app advisory.)
