How do you cut and paste backgrounds in TT only? Icons are simply cut and paste, but need to cut and paste a backround for some mainipulation in PS. I have a mental block , I must have forgot how to do it.

Thanks

You Can't

You have to find the file in the Bitmaps library.

If it is a RTI template.... there is no way other than possibly with a bitmap extraction program of some sort.

Anyone know of one that will do so?

All you have to do is drag the background onto the remote screen then right click and select "copy". Don’t set it as a background, otherwise you can’t copy it, you want it to behave like a button. Now in Photoshop select "file"> "new" > "OK", then click "edit" then > "paste"

Which Background do you need?

I have all of the glass backgrounds extracted if that is what you need.

Do a search for "Hex Ripper" or "Bitmap Ripper"... there are several rippers mentioned and links are provided. I can't find the links at the moment. I have tried several with less than 100% success but I did manage to get quite a few of the graphics out of the RTI glass graphics hex file.

When I drag the background image (shadow in this case) it does not give me a "copy" option when I right cllick or select Edit/Copy from the tool bar. The
"copy" function is dormant. When you say don't set it as a background, what
do you mean? Not sure how to do that...

As far as the graphics I am looking to extract it's the "shadow" series.

Thanks,
Vincent

Hold the ALT key when you drag the background and you'll get a button.
