I have been trying to configure a K4 to control an Escient. I have done everything as described in the technical bulletin on RTI's website. Tuesday I asked the RTI reps at training how to do this and their explanation seemed simple enough that I shouldnt have any problem. But I cant get it to work. I have everything showing up on the screen, but it does nothing when I try to touch an album or song to play. I cant get any response on this screen. I did the firmware update as tech support said I needed but it didnt help.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what to do?

I sent you a reply, name the fireball, and set up static addresses for the Escient and RTI devices for those who are following along...

Are you trying to use the control object on a se-80 if so it does not have the ability to get controled by serial.

If you search there is an extensive thread about how many RTIs you can hook to the Esceints and the glitches...
