With up to 32 zones and many discrete codes, it took me a long time just to learn the first 4 zones.

The Integra dealer website now has "Theater Touch Designer IR Command Library for the MZA-4.7. Includes all 32 Zones (amp and pre-amp) as well as presets, alarm, and sleep timer functions."

Nice piece, are any of you using it?

I saw that. Check out "Zone 1" - it has issues with the command names and is missing a few source commands too.

The names are "Aux, DVD, CD" etc. All other zones say "Input 1, Input 2, Input 3..."

The other zones look good.

It's a nice little unit for the price. We did one, and would do more, but most customers willingly opted for a Crestron Adagio unit when presented with the future possibilties.

I'm not big into their keypads. And if you use other brands of keypad, you don't get any real feedback on power/source etc. (unless I'm missing something)

Later,

George P.

We have about 5 systems out there. Still a pain in the ass until RTI gets it together with a RS232 library manager and 2 way.

I do have to warn you. The fans on that thing are LOUD. Don't install one in the same room someone is watching TV in.

The thing I do like about it is the independent main zone vs preout independent volume control

I don’t get it, it s just an 8 X 4 zone amp in a box, besides the alarm clock, what is so special about this thing, Why would I buy this over anything else?

Well.......... you get the 90's style keypads, composite video switching, 232 control,.........did I mention the 90's style keypads?

I've had great success with the Intega line over the years and the controlablity has always been second to none.

The multi-room product seems to be WAY behind the times.
