PLAY for POWER ON


PLAY;DELAY 2.0 sec;POWER for POWER OFF

In other words... nope. For some reason they just can't seem to get a separate play pause or ON vs off on optical players.

I think they aren't bothering to listen. These are the guys who decided that channel up taking a TV back to the tuner wasn't worthwhile any more, when we depended on it for TOADs like theirs. I think some young engineer who had never even thought about an integrated remote said "why do they need THAT obsolete mechanism any more?"
