I've heard that macromedia flash will become available on RTI in the near future.

Does anyone have any more info on this?

Ie: when?

If they partner with Macromedia.... It would be incredible if we could "place" a flash file into the rti system somehow, and use it has a custom interface... ie without needing the file to be on a web server.
...couple a thumb tacks and a stick of double sided tape should hold this baby up...

Soon can be perceived by Christmas or by the second quarter of 2008 - anyone have a more specific time frame?

During the RTI Level 3 class they said "it was done and only needed to be uploaded to the web site."
Technology is cheap, Time is expensive.

So what I guess we have established is that it is done, and it will take 1-2 months for it to be uploaded to the website.

RTI is great, but I stopped believeing release dates from them 2 months after last years CEDIA when the XP8 was "shipping"

I'll believe it when I see it.

That's my only complaint about RTI... and like you, I just don't pay any attention to the release dates any more. Unfortunately my A*A* is useless, so I have to depend on you guys to let me know when things are available. Thus far, you've come through admirably, thanks.

If it's software it has a better chance of being closer to the release date. RTI, stating the obvious, has a real hard time getting hard goods out the door on time. I know that the RK2 was delayed for a number of hardware production reasons. They need to spend some money a hire a good new product introduction person. Somebody who can kick some ass along the way. Or maybe that's the way life is when you deal with China for the hard goods.
Logic is a systematic method of coming to the wrong conclusion with confidence.

The tech I spoke to said the delay had more to do with the licensing with adobe than the actual implementation into the K4 and T4.
