OK... Says who?

Does that mean that the T2+ is a going away or taking a HUGE price cut?

I would still rather sell the T2+ over the M2.

Says RTI.

I'm not sure if the T2+ will be getting a price cut...seems likely, but I think it may have a lot to do with some of the other remotes; URC MX-980 are selling @ 599.00 USD and the NevoQ50 @699.00 (2.5 in. display) the only difference between the T2-C & T2-Cs is the T2-Cs has a (2.4 in display) oppose to the current T2-C (2.8 in display)

Does the T2c (current) go away?
Does the T3 (current) go away?

I don't know if the T2c has to drop that low - however, the price increase on it (steep) the month after it arrived was not good.

There is a T3 replacement... so it is safe to say that the current T3 is going away.

they t2c is different than the t2cs. I was told the s will be cheaper as it is smaller. the current unit will be firmware upgradable for 2 way. the s unit will not

RTI was very upfront that the current T3 will go away.

That leaves only the T2+ and T1 with the current color scheme and charger base, so... how long will they be around?

So what you're saying is that the CURRENT (Like the one I have in my hand) T2C is going to be able to be firmware updated to do two-way, and the new T2Cs will NOT have two-way?

I think that is the way that I heard it as well.

Current T2-C are not "field upgradable" to 2 way. Once the 2 way product is released, I was told that there would be an "upgrade" program for current T2-C units that need to go 2 way. Changing out the RF section requires soldering.

T2-Cs will never be 2 way according to RTI, in addition it will have a more "fixed" screen layout, with a grid like the T2+ rather than the total flexibility of the T2-C and upper units.

T3 is replaced by T3v.

T2+ will remain for now. I did not get an indication if pricing would be lowered.

The T2+ has still been our most reliable remote

We're using mainly the T2Cs now...but with quite a few DOA issues (sticky buttons, bad battery, charger docking issues)

If they could keep the T2+ in the line, with the MERCURY tilt switch (grandfather clause?) and at a new low price, it would be a Harmony DESTROYER, and would be used for most of our simple family room systems.
