Read the ad first before you attempt to get us riled up

Except for the last one, which I would be offended by also...
They listed it as "THIS SYSTEM IS NOT NEW BUT IT IS IN NEW CONDITION."

thats bs - look at the photos. they are hiding behind advertising them as not new. Are we that dumb as to believe?

Im not sureI understand the policy, your not allowed to see the remote on Ebay? What if you sell to a customer or he/she puts it up for sale?

At that point its used. RTI can't and has no basis to stop them from selling.

The above links are for brand new product regardless of what the add states. I doubt that if you sell one to a client, they will keep the box, all instructions including notice to upgrade firmware and be able to package it as to look completely new and unopened as the units above look.

RTI watches most of the listings, they have bought some in the past and back tracked the serial numbers and actually pulled the line from the dealer..or told the disty to not sell RTI to them

some items are used and nothing can be done, they mainly watch for dealers selling new

Bummer to see it online in auctions and people buy it and get upset because they cant get software...so now they dis the product.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

The U1 is useless with out not only the software but also a processor... makes me feel a little better.

Cripes... is it Tuesday? Wait... you should have posted this yesterday... along with another thread about how pissed off you are about the software not being available to the public.

Maybe we should just put one thread for each at the top, lock it, and let everyone continue the argument over and over again.

The best thing to do with this info is send it to RTI and let them deal with it.


(Obviously I'm jerking your chain)
