Anyone have experience using RS232 with tote Vision? I have the excell spread sheet instructions if anyone wants it.
I only have examples for the power on off,
c) Send Message Packet0xE5, 0x82, 0x00, 0x00, 0x40, 0xE0 0xE0 Key=POWERUP
0xE5, 0x82, 0x00, 0x41, 0x00, 0xE00xE0Key=POWERDOWN
The rest of the info I am looking to solve is as follows, this does not make sense to me , I dont know what they mean by "any value"
Input source Item Addrs High(Hex) Addrs Low(Hex) Min Value(Dec.) Max Value (Dec.)
Common Signal source30x000x36Any value is Component
Common Signal source00x000x33Any value is Analog
a. Send Packet
Header, Channel, Address High, Address Low, Data, Tail
Ex) In case of control the value of Brighness, transmit the serial data as below.
0xE5, 0x30, 0x00, 0x01, 0x20, 0xE0
Header: header ID and total bytes of a packet without Header (header ID : 0xE0) Channel : 0x30 - control, 0x32 - get minumum, 0x34 - get maximum, 0x82 - message, 0x01 - reserved
Address High : control address for a Channel
Address Low : control address or message for a Channel
Data : control data or message
Tail : end of packet (0xE0) If the MCU on LCD control board get the command from the host sucessfully, MCU will return 0xE0 to the host as acknowlege.
But if there is no acknowledge within 50msec after transmit the serial data to MCU on the LCD control board,
that means comunication bewteen host and MCU is failed.
