Im having some issues with rs232 on a 32lc7d. I know all of the rs232 commands and am able to control the tv via terminal. For some reason i cant get the rp6 to control the tv properly. I hooked the rp6 up to my laptop and it is sending the correct commands. I think its a problem with sending a carriage return , i have tried several ways of sending the command.

k a 1 1 \r
k a 1 1 Cr
k a 1 1

All of those seem to not work at all. I have checked my cable several times and even tried using it null even though the rp6 does not use those ports at all.

Edit: Sorry im silly and put the space between ka. my bad

Reminds me of yesterday's annoyance where I managed to confuse 0 and O about six times in an autopatch program.... eh, it happens to the best of us.

I remember Todd telling me at training to use a font with 0's that have a line through them. You think I listened?

At least I only have the problem when putting strings into Theater Touch.

I just can't get used to a programming font as my computer's default font for everything.
