According to the maual, a CB4 will drive 4 touchscreens.

Anyone driven 4 touchscreens (RK3's) and 4 RK1's off the same CB4 without any problems?

Just wondering.

Look at the total current draw of all the devices compared with the power supply output of the CB4 and you will have your answer.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

The CB4 is powered by a 75w rated power supply and is rated to drive 4 touchscreens/ 1.5 amp per port

K4 draw is 16w (at 16vdc: 1 amp max)
RK3 draw is 5w (at 16vdc, .3 amps max)

So if you have four RK3's, the CB4 still has plenty of spare capacity (as suggested first check the power requirements of the RK1)

I have powered 6 RK3's from a CB4 with no problem

As a design matter, and for long term reliability, would you normally run a power supply at its full capacity?

No of course not

but it appears RTI is rating it for 85% duty (4 K4's total 64w) so if you stay under that you should be fine
